This two-day fair of wine tasting is dedicated to the Italian and foreign artisanal producers of organic, bio-dynamic and natural wines.
Now in its second edition, ARTIGIANI DEL VINO brings together the most relevant and important organic, bio-dynamic and natural winemakers from Italy, France and Slovenia. Our goal is to get the public as close as possible to this innovative and unconventional approach to wine.
Together, we will rediscover the ancient know-how of wine production by listening to the stories of the winemakers and how they live in tune with nature while integrating modern technology.
We will carefully taste products which closely reflect the characteristics of their respective terroirs, in which the grapes are cultivated free of pesticides and systemic fertilizers and are away from invasive manipulation within wine cellars. These products are nourished by the energy of the soil and carefully transferred into the bottles where they are given their taste, aroma, structure and elegance.
Medulla Vini is the first winery in Bologna which exclusively specializes in organic, bio-dynamic and natural wines. It was born on the 29 th of November, 2013 with the idea of creating a place where people could exchange ideas, but where the unifying principle is the discussion of wine, winemakers and their history. We support natural, organic and bio-dynamic micro-production which strays from conventional methods. This philosophy was found to be immediately successful and has brought us closer not only to experts and enthusiasts in the field, but also to those who have newly approached and continue to experience to these wines which offer an intermingling of modern and ancient production techniques.
This will be one of the highlights of the enological and gastronomical events that take place in Bologna. A city with a long list of nicknames, “the City of Food” is perhaps among its most accurate. Lying in the heart of a country known the world over for its culinary marvels, its enological excellence and its panoramic beauty, Bologna and its region, Emilia-Romagna have emerged in recent years and have taken its rightful place as one of the hottest culinary destinations in the world.
The Event Program
Sunday 7 May 2017 from 10:30 am to 10:00 pm
This first day of wine tasting will feature around one hundred winemakers, each presenting their wines to all participants, free of charge. There will also be free guided tours offered at 12:00, 2:00 and 4:00 pm in English. During the events, English, Spanish, French and Croatian interpreters will be available.
A limited number of private wine tastings will be organized in collaboration with prominent wine blogger, Don Vino in which special and/or region-specific varieties will be highlighted and discussed.
From 08:30 pm to 10:00 pm there will be a jazz concert in the courtyard entrance,

The second day of wine tasting will have a particular focus on industry professionals in the wine sector and related press agents.
A limited number of private wine tastings will be organized in collaboration with prominent wine blogger, Don Vino in which special and/or region-specific varieties will be highlighted and discussed.
In both fair days there will also be free guided tours offered at 12:00, 2:00 and 4:00 pm in English. During the events, English, Spanish, French and Croatian interpreters will be available.

Entry price:
18 euros, which includes a personal wine glass and access to tastings from any of the producers present at the event.
